Jodey Collorick is the creative director of Kelmscott Studio. He is both an interior designer and master craftsman drawing on over 25 years experience of creating beautifully designed interiors.

Jodey spent twenty years as head decorator for Plain English, the influential cabinet makers whose modern-classical designs are rooted in traditional craftsmanship, an ethos he brought to his own practice. His creativity and experience was increasingly recognised by customers and they would turn to him for guidance on colours and decoration or sourcing items of furniture. Over time, Jodey observed that the world was moving to a place where fine craftsmanship was again being appreciated and he saw the opportunity to set up Kelmscott Studio.

Jodey grew up in a creative and resourceful environment. His mother made soft furnishings and aged sixteen Jodey started restoration work for his father, an antiques dealer. This gave him a strong appreciation and understanding of skills, methods and materials along with an affinity for good design.

He set up his own business restoring and painting furniture and using his decorative techniques in people’s homes. This led him to pursue formal training in in Interior Design at Chelsea College of Art and Design.
